Greetings and welcome to my profile. I identify as an international educator, and my educational philosophy is a culmination of my personal journey. During my university years, while studying Civil Engineering, a profound interest fueled my exploration of educational practices in diverse countries. In my second year at university, I successfully secured an Erasmus scholarship, providing me with the opportunity to study at Nottingham Trent University—an experience that profoundly shaped my worldview. Subsequently, I actively pursued another scholarship to complete my thesis in Mexico, where I participated in a project involving a GPS network predicting volcanic activity in Colima.
Following my time in Mexico, I immersed myself in civil engineering for a few years. However, I came to the realization that my true passion lay in international experiences and the insights derived from them. Despite initial uncertainties about my career path, I remained resolute in my determination to assist students in having enriching experiences abroad, mirroring my own. In 2011, I founded SU Scholarships, establishing connections between Spanish student-athletes and esteemed U.S. universities such as Butler, Seton Hall, and West Virginia.
These experiences solidified my unwavering commitment to international education. I am dedicated to guiding young minds, fostering a global perspective, and encouraging them to embrace their unique qualities. My goal is to equip them with the mindset necessary to navigate life successfully, confront challenges with resilience, and perceive changes as opportunities for growth.
It was during this period that I recognized my desire to be a teacher. While I initially dismissed the idea, envisioning myself teaching a national curriculum in my home country, I discovered the prospect of teaching in international schools. This realization presented an opportunity to continue learning from international experiences while simultaneously supporting students. Pursuing a master’s degree in secondary education with a clear intention to teach internationally, in 2014, I relocated to Qatar with my family. There, I taught mathematics at an international school, gradually ascending to become part of the senior leadership team.
Since 2020, I have been fully immersed in the educational landscape in England, ardently supporting an international community of students in achieving their goals. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
